Chapter 1
Hi! I’m Rosa. Well, actually, I’m Rosalyn, but everyone calls me Rosa. Honestly, I don’t care. My sister Mackenzie says Rosalyn is better for an adult. Mackenzie is kind of a know-it-all. Anyways, I’m Rosa Johnston and I’m 12 years old. I have blond hair, blue eyes and I’m sorta short and chubby. I’m not overweight, just healthy. My twin sister is Mackenzie. She’s my opposite. I think that’s confusing. I’m this born to be star and she absolutely hates the spotlight. Weird, right?
So today we’re heading off to Green Lakes Campground. Mackenzie and I just love Green Lakes. It’s absolutely amazing. There’s two lakes, and they’re always warm and refreshing. It’s the ideal camping spot. I’ve got two pink suitcases because we’re leaving for two whole weeks! Our housekeeper Mrs Roland looks after our house while we’re away. We live in a lighthouse! It has three floors. Mackenzie and I have our own bedroom on the third floor. That’s where all the bedrooms are. Downstairs is our kitchen, living room and dining room. On the first floor there’s a banquet hall, a little museum and this massive entrance hall.
