The Girl Knight-part 2

II.
Testing, Testing
At Evergreen Castle, as the parade went through the streets, Princess Abigail was hard at work. She was being tested on her potions later that day. Abby had always wanted to be a witch, like her late aunt, Marina. “Are you all ready, Your Highness?” asked her governess.  “I think so,” said Abby. “I’ve reviewed everything I’m to be tested on. Is the witch Claudia here already?” “Yes, Your Highness. Should I tell them to announce you now?” asked Miss Ellen, the governess. “Yes, thank you Ellen. Tell them I shall be down in a second,” Abby replied. “Yes, Your Highness,” said Miss Ellen.
Abby dressed and walked down to the Great Hall. “Her Royal Highness, the Crown Princess Abigail Grace Regina!” cried a page. Abby took her seat. Her parents walked in next. “Her Majesty Queen Alexandra Hilary Ginova!” called the page. “His Supreme Majesty, King Bryan George Henry V, king of Evergreen!” The King and Queen took their seats. The page then announced their guest. “The Witch Claudia of Evergreen Forest!” he called.  The witch walked in, curtsied to the monarchs, and came to stand beside Abby. In came the Royal Aid. “Your Royal Highness, your testing begins!” he announced. “Please rise!” Abby rose from her seat. “Your Royal Highness,” said the Royal Aid. “Do you agree to spend the next 8 years of your life devoted to the study of magic?” “I do,” said Abby, as confidently as she could. “Do you promise to never back out on this study?” “I do,” said Abby again. “Then your testing has begun!” cried the Aid.
